Just walking home in the lovely sunshine and a got a large whiff of brut aftershave ... took me back 30 odd years to when I first started seeing my hubby . What smells bring back memories for you ?

I love the smell of Ambre Solaire suntan lotion : one whiff of that sends me back to a tropical beach!

And the smell of a slightly chloriney swimming pool smell on a wet swimsuit ... well .. that’s a special memory indeed ..

Pipe or cigar smoke evokes memories of Christmas for me. It was the only time my father smoked.

Hiding in the shadows

Creosote..

Takes me back to my childhood, every spring helping my dad & grandad paint all the fences and sheds & outbuildings.

It used to take about a month to complete the whole job.

Hawaiian Tropic & Piz Buin, I love.

Can't remember what Ambre Solaire smells like, it's been years since I've used that.

My most recent has coconut oil in so that smell always reminds me of holidays

Me too, except I never had a grandad, but I love that smell. I once bought some cough sweets with creosote in them. Strange but true.

"Paraffin "

Funny you should mention that. As I use to see Concorde taxi, close up, at Liverpool Airport and the exhaust fumes used to smell just like paraffin.
