So, I’m going to a funeral at 12, I’ve just ironed my only plain white shirt and was carrying it up the stairs on a hanger with a cup of tea in the other hand, tripped on the stairs and spilled the brew all over said shirt. Aaaaarrrrggggghhhhh. It’s on a quick wash in the washing machine, just hope I can dry and iron it in time. FML.

What mishaps have happened to you at crucial moments?

Damn. You're cutting it fine. Are you wearing a suit? Just iron the bits that show.

We were just setting off on a long drive for a business meeting when a bird pooed on Mr Ns shirt. Neither of us likes ironing much so there wasn't one ready and we had to dash indoors, scrabble about for a clean one and quickly iron it.

Went through a phase of going commando some time ago. That all stopped when one evening I was at work, bent down to pick some stock up & split my trousers all the way from front to back flashing my dangly bits at customers & colleagues

Couldn't find my passport the day I was taking my ex away to Bruges for her birthday, realised after I'd torn the house apart that it must have been in a zip compartment in a suitcase that I'd leant to my sisters boyfriend who she had just broken up with I did get it back but it involved having to get his number from her, ring him to check it was there, then a 60 mile round trip to get it, and then make it to the ferry in time!

If only it were a dream! Have a terrible habit of sleeping with women I work with.

Has gotten me in a fair bit of hot water in the past.

Not as much as the time I slept with a customer though
