How do others overcome the nerves of a meet, I've been here years and I still get them

I still get nerves too even though I've been in the scene quite a while.

Nerves are a good thing though and the minute I don't get nerves will be the day I give up swinging.

Some nerves / adrenaline is good! As long as it doesn’t become all consuming and destructive!

When it doesn’t make me pump adrenaline then I’m stopping!

Take deep breaths and remember they’re probably feeling just as nervous too!

I’ve had meets where I’ve literally shook beforehand! Not nerves as such, pure adrenaline!! Once the ice is broken 5 or 10 mins in I’m fine!!

I think it's excitement too, in the past I've shook but I'm getting too old not to enjoy my free time I guess

I've been on here for a few years on and off but still get nervous meeting someone new. For me it's all part of the exciting build up

It's quite normal. Even as a couple we get nervous. Keeps it real.

Nerves are a good things. Even when I met someone on previous occasions the nervous excitement is still there.

I get terribly nervous if it was a private meet. It's partly why I don't do private. In clubs there is no pressure and I don't suffer so bad.

Nerves/anxiety before a meet will be the death of me..

I used to get a lovely flutter of excitement in the pit of my stomach but as ive got older its got worse...

As soon as we have met its fine but until then i am a nervous wreck lol
