Ouch heading to week 14 of recovery

Well heading to week 14 woooo this is exciting as I didn’t think this would happen lmao I mean just going from week 1-14 lol

Soooo I been doing regular walks between 2-6 thousand steps every day or other day.

I’ve had 2 interviews didn’t get either boooo but I supposedly did amazing in em both... and had occy health in work today - which was ok and not as much a worry as I thought and supposedly I look better and like my mental health good.

Soooo all great and exciting although today my knee is soooo tired feeling, aches and getting gripping pain a now home am resting along scare and where pins an plate is.

But home an time rest on PlayStation playing spiderman As no one chats to me on here when I email em lol ( that don’t include forum chats)

Exciting 2 week after operation was supposed go with family to Scotland but couldn’t go this weekend we going wales for long weekend which is another achievement yipee

Soooooo thank you for the following and interest as well as the support when I have needed it my forum pals. If anyone who likes this journey wanna be friends feel free to add me as it’s been fun

This is all great to read. I bet 14 weeks ago you didn't think you would be this far forward. A weekend in Wales, sounds great, enjoy!

Ano especially as week after op had issue with dvt an hourly icing to reduce risk of clot getting worse.

But yeah it feels great so far yet I think still long way to go phew

Wales will be beautiful and nice esp as place staying has hot tub to chill in

Gosh that could have been nasty! That hot tub sounds great, very relaxing for you and will set you up for a while, when you get back home

Ooooh just had call from place going away to and they making sure hot tub is set up and ready for us oh my aching bones and body needs to enjoy the water yum

Having a mega rest day and slept so goood last night for like 8 hrs which for me is a huge achievement hopefully it continues

Yeah rehab good will be better once get another X-ray showing fractures healed then can start doing weights and increase exercises

I do physio twice a day but also do extras as able

Soooo now week 14 and yipee a break tomorrow for a few days going be amazing to escape life what it been for past 14

Can’t wait spend time with family and just rest outside of the house hahahaha oh and the hot tub will be awesome
