I get fed up of people who ask about it, mostly the OP totally ignores any good tips, or goes unlos not too long later.

Why do they bother

99% of those that ask for advice never act upon it..I think that automatically shows the kind of people they are personality wise and imagination wise too

Possibly so, but why not just take some of the positive advice that many people give, then just have a laugh on here

Yeah, but most of the time it's generally good advice, I have tried to help many people on their "Will fill in later" profiles, only for every positive comment to be totally ignored.

It's not always men.. mainly men yep.. I've seen threads from couple's.. and I'd guess there'd be single ladies periodically asking as well.

Well it's hard to educate Stupid.

Perhaps we should slap it out of them instead?

I think you're missing the point here, I was on about people who ask for advice, and then after receiving positive feedback choose to ignore it

Manchester (she/her)

I think without being warned, no one knows how difficult Fab can be. For men, not getting a reply. For women, working out how to wade through it all.

I imagine that the average guy doesn't have to work anywhere near this hard on most sites, and the average woman gets more attention on Fab in a day than in a year elsewhere. For the former, it's probably bewildering. For the latter, sometimes it's hard to come up for air (and you get attention at first no matter what you do).

I think there are a subset of people here who expect to exist and have offers of sex coming out of their ears. Others are disheartened by the advice given. Those may not take the advice, or they might leave.

It's basically the same as someone walking up to you in town and asking directions to somewhere, then they walk off in the opposite direction

So a question, why do you think advice has to be taken if someone didn't agree with the advice or thought it was wrong? Who decides the advice is right and why is a person not allowed to ignore it if they don't like it?

I do agree.

Advice is just that, you’re advsing someone on how you *think* they could better their profile. It doesn’t actually mean they have to take you up on it.

There are a lot of guys on here who ask for advice on their profiles and equally a lot who don’t take any of the advice on. But they know best, and they can use this site as they see fit!

I don’t mind giving people advice, whether they take it or not is their choice & it doesn’t bother me either way as that same advice may help someone else.
