I wouldn't of got into an argument about it, I'd of just said "sorry but I know my worth, and you're not worthy of me" and left it at that.

I've had buddies disappear for months or years then pop up asking to meet. If the sex was good enough and I feel like having sex I'll say yes. If not, I tell them I'm too busy with the men I met since we last met.

Difference between that and a fwb is an ongoing friendship with an interest in each others lives, who would socialise as well as fuck.

I think what the OP is saying she had not heard form her ex FWB for a long time. Then he suddnely pops up again and asks for sex. There was no hi, how are you long time no see, what have you been up to, etc. He didn't just ask for sex he asked to pay her for sex.

I clearly say in the first line I don't agree with offering to pay for sex but some people wouldn't find a message from a fb asking if they fancied a fuck massively insulting, some would see that as the point of a fb rather than a fwb.

I had this with an ex FB. I don't mind so much the long silence, but I'm in it for me, so if he can't be arsed turning up to put out when I need some, I sure as hell won't be dropping everything to service him when he pops up.

No I get this. Manners and some form of interest eg name is great. A fuck buddy is someone you meet regularly, you’re polite and friendly towards so many people, why not someone you play with? Don’t think OP is particularly bothered about them remembering the name of her childhood guinea pig or favourite song, just a little respect
