Bath or shower?

So while I was away for the summer my shower broke... since I got home 2 weeks ago I have had to use the bath.

Truth is on my travels some days I slept rough and my morning ablutions sometimes for 2 days consisted of brushing off the dust, cleaning my teath in the remains of last nighrs beer and riding fast enough to leave the bad smells behind me... despite that I still felt cleaner than I do now!!

I need to bits to fix my shower, baths just don't feel clean enough to me.

So what are your preferences / thoughts?

Showers regularly for functional daily cleaning (and any morning cleansing!)

Baths irregularly for leisurely relaxing soaks. Always an evening activity!

Bath is a great place to drink vodka and read a book, but normally I have a shower after to wash off the bath. If the parts dont arrive tomorrow I will have to ask the neighbour if I can use theirs.

I like a bath but I like showers for the convenience. I don't have a shower though so it's not an option.

Used to be bath (as the shower here was crap). Since getting a new shower many years ago can't actually remember last taking a bath & prefer the shower now.

I love a shower as soon as i wake up and have done for years but if I've had a hard day you can't beat a bath.

I love a bubblebath with a glass of wine and a book.

For quickness, a shower.

Shower first to wash clean then a red hot bath to relax and soak in.

Showers are for washing, baths are for total relaxation, sensuality, and debauchery

This plus a bath when getting ready for a night out.

Love languishing in a candle lit bathroom with a bubble filled bath and a book. Topping up with hot water when when you've been in that long it starts to feel tepid

Id rather have a quick shower then sit on the sofa with book and vodka. Hate water growing cold around me, and everything goes pruny

Either, but I can happily say that since the age of about 12 I have never gone 24 hours without one or the other both or multiple times. The thought of sleeping in a car or rough and then getting on with the day makes me itch and smell imaginary smells and need a wash right now

"I far prefer baths, love hot baths that ease my painful joints, i hate having a shower as i find it painful and cold and i never feel clean after one."

So the complete opposite to me then. I just don't feel good after a bath, that could in part be because I don't really fit in baths very well.

One spot I slept rough in over in Romania I was near a 15 to 20 foot high waterfall in the middle of no where. Used it as a shower in the morning, that was VERY cold, but it was a seriously hot night so very welcome.

Best not share the joys of waking up on a couch in a club house with a large group of bikers sleeping where they fell, you would be in the shower for days

Well still waiting for parts, so still taking baths

We have one of those whirlpool baths with the clit stimulating jets built in. Problem is the wife lives in Germany, and I don't have the required parts...

Promised delivery by Tuesday can't wait... insanity is getting worse the longer it goes on.

We had our bath taken out and a proper shower unit put in as I can’t be doing with baths, I get fed up just waiting for the thing to fill let alone sitting in it for hours if I need to unwind I just stand right under the head and let the hot water run over me

Quite glad the bathroom was big enough for both, or I would be reduced to standing in the kitchen sink to get clean until the shower repair parts arive

Thought of that, but was daft and went for a fancy mixer tap so they won't fit.... I wonder if they still exist?

Showers are essential for functional quick efficient cleaning - I’d never cope with the kids without a shower. But a long soaking bath is like a massage for me - so de/stressing and relaxing
