Hmmmm, intriguing the first time you see it, but just gets on your tits after multiple views.

East Sussex

The first time I saw it I wandered what it would be for. It seemed similar to the latest round of bank and building society ads. The second time it came on I just felt bored.

I'm tired of advertising, it bores me and I feel insulted by the attempt to manipulate me.

Exactly my thoughts, I mute the telly now when it comes on, I found it annoyed me very quickly after the first viewing of it.

I think it's designed to give you a warm fuzzy feeling and to make you associate John Lewis and Waitrose with that feeling. Its an attempt to manipulate the way you feel about big organisations that want you to use their services over others. I don't like that.

I find it very poor and manipulating

To be honest, all John Lewis and Waitrose make me think is "far more expensive than anywhere else, and not necessarily better quality"

My Own Little World

Only seen it the once but found it sweet. S'pose it could get a bit cloying after a few times, but I don't watch live TV I record everything just to cut out the Ads.

It's why I like to shop in Aldi although even they are trying to manipulate their image.

Bristol East

Flicking through the channels, landed on ITV and the auto subtitle said Coronation Street.

So I thought it was a sketch from Corrie, thinking this is fab.

Until the branding appeared at the end.

lolol

Does it make me want to go to John Lewis?

No

Did I enjoy it?

Yes

Given the emphasis is on the partners, I'd say its about all the parts becoming united for be great outcome. We like it a lot.
