What is your commute to work and in your opinion the worst line

My commute is the Victoria and central line. And I just dislike the central and bakerloo line with a passion

Countryside for 20 minutes love it. Worst tube line is Northern. It’s so dark on the tube map, whilst all its counterparts are so colourful.

I worked for the months the far side of Hounslow, can't remember the stop but it was after Hounslow and before Heathrow. And I was seeing someone that lived in wood green. So quite often doing alnost the whole length of the picadilly line. That was fucking grim

Think he’s trying to fit in on the thread X_X. But yeah I feel Victoria line is useful because less stops on there, but too many commuters in the morning Vauxhall and Victoria stations are a nightmare. And don’t get me started on central line. Hardly any aircon old style trains and no written information on the train to know which direction it is going I.e Woodford via hailnult or Epping. Just have to try listen out for it and sometimes that’s not clear

I genuinely love the underground, all the times I've used it I've thought it a great way to travel around the capital.

The metro in Newcastle is just as good.

I do Picadilly line frequently from kings cross to south Kensington, to take a family member to royal Marsden hospital, that can be a nightmare most times, often overcrowded and have to stand for 15 minutes.

Agreed. I don't use the tube to commute thankfully but when I do go into town I avoid the district line like the fucking plague, it's the slowest line ever!

Upminster bridge station to Victoria takes an hour or so. An ex lived in pimlico so add another stop or two on the victoria line. Easier to jump off at Victoria and walk it

In a town Fab forgot

Waterloo northern line to tottingham court road, then central to St Pauls.

On the way home St Paul's central line to bank, then Waterloo and city back to Waterloo.

Alternatively if I'm not in a rush on the way home I'll walk down to the wobbly bridge and walk along the embankment back to Waterloo.

Much nicer...

Cor... Mornington Crescent! Takes forever to get there and always with a route, that turns out utterly daft, recommended each week on Radio 4!

I love the London overground and so many different people you get to see.. pity they aren’t friendly but I don’t like the underground as my daily commute
