when get one for business travel the norm is an Astra, though there are the odd delivery like if have a trip of say 200-300 mile round trip have been delivered a Corsa ...

well today had a 'car' delivered that'll only be used about 80 miles tomorrow but if Sarah & I were into dogging then would be perfect ... a SEAT Alhambra 7seat 'tank' of a vehicle ...

what "unsuitable vehicles for the job" have hire car companies left you with?

They just always know don't they!!! Fiat Panda was all that was available when doing 600mile trip, but Seat, Merc and even a Range Rover when I am doing 30 miles to sit in an office all day!

not exactly a hire car but when I put my Mercedes E class in for service I was guaranteed a courtersy car, I had to pick up a VIP from the station on the way from the dealers to the office and they gave me a flamin Smart Car!!!! I was not a happy bunny to say the least.

on arriuving at granada airport our car was not available ,, the offed a beetle convertible in bright yellow ,,, i refused point blank to take it and waited 3 hours for the one we ordered to be driven up from malage ,, , my lady friend was not impressed ,, but no way was i driving a yello feckin beetle
