KIDLINGTON

Hi all after some feedback on the above diet. I started it yesterday and just wondered if any of you have tried it and if so how you found it? Any of you stuck to it long term?

The concept works for me as it is flexible on when fast days are and the fact I'm not having to count calories everyday... (I know non fast days are still calorie restricted) but not to a silly level and food types etc...

Feedback welcome

Are you doing it as a lifestyle change or just a diet for a set period?

The plan is to see how I get on with it.. but a lifestyle change would be the plan...

I did for a bit before I found my current eating methods.

It can be fine, but don’t forget the health side to food, it’s not an excuse to shovel in all sorts of crap on the 5 days. And the 2 days should be good food too.

I tried it and managed about 6 months..

Its ok once you get into it but its best to stick to the same 2 days of fasting..it was for me anyway

I think I'd start on the 5 day part and give up before I got to the 2!

I find it much easier to stick to a healthy diet as a whole, I choose healthier options day to day rather than a fad diet I have to think about and plan for.

the land of saints & sinners

I found it was the only did tha was easy to stick to...

I actually did not really need to lose much weight. Just wanted a more healthy life style. I’ve be on it for the last 3 years...

I also gave up red meat as well...

I’m much more healthy and fitter as a result though I did take up cycling as well doing 100+ miles a week...
