Saw a guy in York the other day,short back and sides, big beard, dad bod build, dark hair ...I pretty much did the cartoon wolf eyes popping out thing..

Absolutely love a freshly cut short back and sides on a man...

My own hair has always been short (crew cuts, military style, etc.) - hangover from when I was very young and my Dad always insisted the barber cut it that way.

Grew to like it, a lot.

Great if you have a manual job as noggin stays nice and cool

I've had a short back and sides for over 30 years. Partly because I've had to wear a lot of headgear, partly because I really don't care about maintaining anything fashionable and partly because I have the same barber as Action Man.

I will say this, having your hair cut by a female barber is (for me at least) a sensual experience.

Sensual, not sexual. But the feeling of their soft hands through your hair, and the close proximity of their bust...

You lost me at 'big' beard

Guys with very short hair and facial fuzz can look pretty good

This current trend for turning their faces into what resembles a foxes nest is just really off putting

I sometimes see a guy and think I bet you're really handsome under that beard of bees - cos that's what some look like, those Victorian photos you see of a man with a face full of bees.

Oddly enough I never found a lady barber who could make a decent job of a straight forward short back and sides. I don't know why that is..

There are some ...interesting variations. I had to see a client last week. A young guy in his late 20's. shaved at the sides and back, what I can only describe as a flock of seagulls on top, and a full beard. I found it hard not to laugh...but that's just me..

There are some ...interesting variations. I had to see a client last week. A young guy in his late 20's. shaved at the sides and back, what I can only describe as a flock of seagulls on top, and a full beard. I found it hard not to laugh...but that's just me.. "
