Has anyone used the ‘Arranged meet, didn’t turn up’ option to report timewasters to admin? Just had another one tonight and was wondering if it’s worth the effort.....

Do it. If they get multiple reports about someone maybe they'll take action.

This..

The more people use it the more admin will be aware of it

It should be like the Shpock app. You both commit to meeting and then if that person does not turn up, you can rate the meet as zero or no show. You can only report a no show if there is an initial commitment made through the site. What does everyone else think?

I didn't know there was such a thing.

Is it a members thing?

or open to anyone?

Open to anyone. Under the bit to "block user" there is a report option, it gives you a list of reasons to report and not turning up is one of them.

I think that would be open to abuse too tbh, and rating is subjective. If I agree to meet someone and at the meet they ask me to do X, I say no, but we still have (I think) a good time, what's to stop them giving me a low rating or claiming I didn't show? (plus incompatible doesn't mean a person is bad)

Central

Always report any behavior that doesn't adhere to site standards. Ad a free site, fab relies on us all to maintain and improve standards.

I'd like the option for people to invite and commit to meeting, so that misunderstanding is clearer -an option would be to attach contact information and the meet details, coupled with acceptance that failed meets world damage your future site use.

Failures would automate some site admin work, though subject to their review and control.
