Am I the only one who doesn't like receiving "xxx" on here?

I find it rather weird especially on a sex site.

Kiss as a message subject, kiss at the end of each sentence, or "Wanna shag? X" type of text..

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love a proper one to one kissing or understand getting kisses from someone I know.. But to get them from total strangers, I can't stand it.

I've never actually thought about it until now, but depending on who it's from, I may or may not mind!

I'd normally put a "x" at the end of a message replying to lady as most of them will put one at the end of a message to myself and it's nice to respond in kind?

Don't view it as weird per se, it just seems acceptable ettiquette nowadays between opposite sexes messaging outside of professional matters or women messaging each other?

Though blokes don't tend to end messages to each other with kisses to the best of my knowledge ha!

I personally think it's the least thing to worry about in a message. I'd much prefer kisses at the end and have a respectful thought out message than a copy and paste or not thought out message without them

I don't use kisses in texts with anyone. I have a few people I send kiss emojis to but they are few n far between. I think it is a bit weird tbh. Although it is funny as fuck when my fwb, who often signs off texts with "xxx" sends them to one if his mates

The only time I mind is when it’s preceded by some complete stranger’s graphic and crude list of things they want to do to me but then it’s not really the kisses that are the issue in that case. I find it rather an odd end to that sort of message though.

I’ve always seen it as one is just being friendly, two is more friendly with someone that you have leased with a little more but three or more is more meaningful and for a partner or relative only. I dare say that some may disagree with me but that’s how I interpret kisses on messages

I never put kisses on my first message. On the rare occasion when I get a reply I take my cue from the woman. If she wants to continue the conversation and puts a kiss at the end I do likewise when I reply.

I’d put kisses on a Happy Birthday or a thank you if someone’s been nice or to show empathy if someone is sad or ill etc but that wouldn’t be a first message to a complete stranger. I’d do it on a forum post for the same reasons.

I end my messages with a kiss in private messages to let them know its the Mrs they are talking to since we are a couple. They find it helpful and they send one back. But once they know it's the Mr they are talking to, the kisses end.

It's a way to end a message without a blunt end, a bit like DJ'ing rather than letting a song end with a pause. I think ppl get too hung up on styles of texting and forget what the person is actually saying or what they might learn from the other person or their style. Do we all really already know everything there is to know about life already, alot if ppl seem to act like it in here...???

Chill out and if you don't like kisses then just ignore... ....theyre not actually real kisses, no saliva or breath in your face, just a gesture on a text....

I use it to show affection. I don’t do it all the time but do when the mood takes me.

I sometimes do it just to match the communication style of a woman I am chatting to. However I only do it if I wish to genuinely show affection and appreciation.

That’s an eye-opener - I had no idea.

My standard sign-off is “Nxxx” with the x’s simply hiding the other letters of my name, rather than as kisses.

I’d better change that immediately - I don’t want to appeal only to the women that like a lot of kisses on the bottom!

Has anyone else accidentally sent kisses to someone they shouldn’t have? I get it of a few people I shouldn’t when they message and I’ve sent a few out by mistake myself, can be awkward

I've done that quite a few times, it's a reflex adding a kiss sometimes and it depends who I have been messaging most at that time. Sent a few kisses to a work group message the other day and got a grilling for it lol.

Not with my work colleagues. We get d*unk together, shopping, sightseeing, room parties, so a kiss from them is pretty normal in my job. I even get kisses on the cheek.

I found it odd at first that guys nearly always end messages with a kiss as i saw it as something a lot of women so. I just take it as someone being friendly these days, but leaving kisses at the end of messages was never something I used to do unless chatting with friends.

I think it’s just become a social norm to be honest. It’s become so normal, that’s it’s almost a kind of full stop for the end of any piece of text. I literally know someone who uses them as a full stop for every sentence, and he’s in his 60s!

I don’t think people see them as a “kiss” in that they aren’t saying, oh she gave me a kiss, she must want to kiss me in real life. I think they use it as a nice way to signify the end of a message. It’s better that “LOL”

It's hard for me to get out and about as i don't drive soI don't encounter that many people. I'm sure most would take one look and want to avoid though!

I don't really like em from people I know either, because I don't send them, so it makes me wonder if they think I am just being a cow or sumin... Doesn't make me send em tho... I don't kiss anyone after every sentence, stop it! I send the kiss emoji on kik etc, if I want to, but other than that.... No Xs
