Is it wrong to look at a woman?

Bill Clinton is getting slated for 'looking up and down' at Ariana Grande at Aretha Franklin's funeral. Ariana was singing a tribute song at the time. He was sat behind her and video clips show him looking up and down at Ariana. He was also looking around at people in the audience.

Twitter people are making out that he's some kind of threat to the community.

Is it wrong to look at a woman?

No. The implication is that of the media.

No one knows what he was looking at or why.

He was probably thinking

God I can’t believe her legs are so bad for such a tiny dot.

I could be looking someone up n down and it won't necessarily be lust. I could be looking at their shoes or something else, even the chair they are sitting on.

Joking aside Dan ..... These times are getting scary for men and I didn't expect me to say that. Maybe there'll be bloody storms before it calms down. Maybe women should wear burkas to protect them. Maybe men should have their eyes removed at birth ........ jesus.

It's getting like the handmaster's tale.

Yes, all men should be forced to wear blinkers and blindfolds when out in public

It's not a news story or any kind of major event, it's just a few people on Twitter saying 'look at Clinton checking her out!'

Unfortunately it seems to be a thing now where 'journalists' delve through Twitter and report back that they've found a 'Twitter storm' or 'social media out cry'.

The funeral ran on for over six hours.

I would have been looking round, I would have been looking Ariana Grande up and down, I would probably have got a sudoku out at some point.

It's ok to look at women. Here's a shocker, I don't mind when men look at me.

That makes it sound like she's to blame for attracting the looks in the first place. This is all just hyped up, overblown nonsense. Are we men going to be forced to wear blindfolds every time we step out of the front door?

Ok. I don't like men leering and I don't like men appraising my body with their eyes when we're having a serious conversation. I think its human nature for men to look at women though (and also for women to look at men).

In all seriousness it's a funny one for me and all depends on my frame of mind at the time.

I've just been on holiday with my 16 year old daughter and the amount of looks she had from people men, women, young and old was getting increasingly uncomfortable for myself and her especially. She's a beautiful girl with a great figure. People were just blatantly staring at her though. Her dad said he felt the same when he took her away.

Men were beeping at her in cars and motorbikes, she got to a point where she didn't want to wear any makeup or something that showed her figure. I saw from her perspective how horrible that can actually be when it's constant.

I can very much relate to this. My daughter has become very uncomfortable at times with the attention she has received. She’s under 18 and looks older and is very beautiful. Not all attention is wanted and sometimes it can cause a problem for the person on the receiving end. It also doesn’t help that people who are significantly older than she is do it to her.

I think there is a difference between looking, staring, leering. Some men know that and some don’t and therein lies the problem.

People are going to look, it’s human nature. I would just like people to be mindful of others.

Clinton is always going to get stuff like this thrown at him simply because if what happened in the past. He was sat front row with a lady singing in front of him. Of course he’s going to focus on them.

The wolves are out everywhere these days. We seem to have lost the power of common sense, understanding and proportionally. Ah no sorry, my fault for mentioning both things in the same post. It was 2 separate articles. One about him looking at her. The other was about whether it was appropriate to wear a short dress to a funeral.

I think her dress was appropriate for a 6 hour celebration, which apparently is mostly what it was. Not a funeral in a quiet country church.

Regardless of what she was wearing. If you are performing to the public your expecting them to look at you or what would be the point in it

As for her dress i thought it was a nice dress would of been very suitable "if" it had been a couple of inches longer. There was no need to wear a dress with her arse practically hanging out the back of it
