Should Fab extend ability to restrict messages?

I hope this comes across the way I'd intended it.

I get a lot of messages from men and "TV/TS" even though I have identified as straight. I have come across way to many profiles where a user expresses a preference for or against a particular ethnicity, based on the tone in their profile I imagine it is often ignored. As a single guy when I run a search I always select the option to filter out women who are not looking for single guys.

Also one can be blocked from sending message if they don't match the recipient's preference on age, but on nothing else it seems.

Should it not be possible for a user to opt that they don't get messages from someone who doesn't match their preferences? Or the ability to set up a search filter to exclude users who have?

You can set filters to prevent men, women, TVs, couples, etc from messaging you

You can block people from messaging you with messaging filters.

North west ish

Block men. Block tvs. They won't come up in searches and won't be able to message you.

Hefty Hideaway

We’re all adults. I don’t think we need Fab to do this. If someone has ‘leggy and gym fit’ on their profile I’d use the social skills I possess to understand that I’m not the droid they’re looking for and not send a message (nor wink nor friend request). I don’t think filtering that profile out is necessary. Everyone loves a good pic perve (assuming decent pics on profile and not 26 photos of japs eye)

Hi all.

Thanks so much for the tips. I really should have checked settings before posting my topics. They appear to have changed since I last checked.
