Why do people lie to you about how close they are?! Everyone seems to be 20 mins away from me. I’ve had people from Blackpool, Preston, Liverpool, Warrington etc saying only 20 mins from Manchester, when in reality they’re all between 40 mins and 90 mins away! Even had one saying he does Birmingham to Manchester in 20 mins (I did ask if he was coming in an helicopter)

I find it hilarious, I’m not moaning. Is there anything people are always telling you that’s clearly impossible?

Some guys are no good at distances thats all strangely its the same ones who think 5 inches is 10 inches when it really is 5 inches.

Manchester to Liverpool can be done in 30 minutes with no traffic and doing 80-90mph but thats just moterway driving, Most people don't live right at the end of the motorway

Oh right, you are the one doing the travelling... so its you that cant get to Birmingham in 20 minutes... I am stopping over in Basel tonight (French half, can't afford the coffee over th border), could you pop down and tuck me in, it's only 40 minutes or so.

I’d not let anyone travel far specifically for me anyway. Always meet for a social first and who’s going to travel 2 hours for a coffee and even if they would what if I didn’t like them? I’d feel so guilty and on top of that they may feel entitled to something for the hassle and get pushy! Not for me sorry xx

It's a Cornish beer, it's sort of on your way... May add 5 minutes to the trip
