I had a Samsung galaxy young 2 many years ago. Thing when in the bath twice and off a balcony and still didn't crack or die.

Gave it to my young daughter who eventually destroyed it

I rarely break phones. Hubby on the other hand spends more time without a phone than with! Our teens aren't too dissimilar to hubby. I have an lg g6 wouldn't say it's indestructible but I've had it over a year and there's no damage.

I once had an iPhone spent the day in the garden digging planting flowers, came in the house & put all my clothes in the washing machine & went for a shower,

Then thought shit my phone is in my pocket ah ok I thought I will get it after my shower...I come downstairs & my ex had put the washing on and I could see my trousers going around & around plus she wouldn’t stop the washing mid cycle so I had to wait......eventually I took the phone out which seemed like a lifetime it was all steamed up so I put it in a bag full of silica gel packs the type you get in all packages & put it in the airing cupboard got up the next morning and it was all clear and working as normal...job done & still worked up to the day I upgraded it.

On my first day with my new Sony, I didn't notice I had dropped it down the side of my reclining sofa.

A few minutes later I reclined it looking for the new phone.

All I heard next was CRUNCH

New phone needed less than one day into my contact

Samsung Galaxy note 2. Fallen off my motorbike a few times, explodes with body, back, battery and stylus in different places. Put it back together and away it goes. Fallen in the bath a couple times, dies, quick dry off put into a bag of rice overnight and started the next morning. It's about 8 yrs old and still have as my backup. Replace the battery a couple times, other than that it's still does most things well. My Note 4 is my main phone now and it's had similar mishaps but not as many. Pretty indestructible too.

Irony of all ironies. I was taken out by a a car switching lanes on the M40/A34 junction on Friday morning. I'm laid up in RF hospital in Oxford with 7 broken ribs and waiting surgery on a snapped ligament in my right thumb. Lucky not to have a punctured lung or worse. My Africa Twin didn't fair too well however my Samsung Note 4 which I'm using to respond here didn't have a scratch and was being used for gps. Testimony to the RAM holder used to mount it too.

My last phone lasted till maybe two months before I was due to upgrade, and even then it was so insignificant that you wouldn't have known unless I told you. That lg G5 was great, apart for the housing for the removable battery

My friend had a Nokia, he lost it, no idea where. Then one day he'd been walking across the field and here it was laid in the grass. It will of been driven over by a tractor numerous times, it will of been exposed to all weathers. He put it on the radiator, dried it out and it still worked. Amazing.
