Well as usual here is my weekly post haha

Well last Saturday as i previously posted I had a great walk of nearly 2000 steps, doesn’t sound a lot but when for nearly 10 weeks had ups an downs lots bed rest and no walking. It felt like a marathon an took 2 days to recover (reminded me of my running days which typically what caused me to need the operation lol)

So all Tuesday evening I went for a walk anyone who lives near me may know the hill from Morrison’s to the golden delight restaurant is steep or at least felt huge to me haha like Mount Everest

Well am still on crutches I was hoping to be off then last week but muscle wastage, dvt complication and tearing my calf muscles when had severe cramp set me back another month. I can’t even do proper physio therapy stuff till get repeat X-ray and get off crutches.

However long walks and continued physio stretches will help and make me feel like am slowly improving.

I wish people from work who said would visit and take me out for lunch etc had but seems once left work your forgotten.

Am so glad to have amazing family who take me to my appointments and look after me, excited as Thursday they going to walk and get food haha.

This makes my troubles seem very small. I so hope your recover picks up. That is such a long time.

What trouble you have if wanna share

Oh it sounds long but for the type of operation it’s not. I can see why younger ppl get it rather than a knee replacement but recovery is longer.

Haha thanks it’s like a mini series with ups and downs but always a ray of hope to take forward to the next week

Just been with the parents who took me for walk to frodsham village to a coffee shop then to get and sort some errands. Most walked in a trip is 2500 steps roughly .......

Well just done 4050 amounts to 1.86 miles am absolutely knackered now but wow what an achievement

Am now not moving for rest of the day lol

Yeah I had 2 week after op was stuck in then had a few days getting out being excited then bam ?? I tore calf muscles an meant weeks an weeks house rest so I been managing lil bits

Big walk today means 2 days rest now with just stretches no distances need not push it as I can set back month if do

Probably low blood pressure and blood sugar been so tired recently but suffer from insomnia so kinda bad catch 22 want sleep but can’t

Still going with physio

Went local Morrison’s yesterday but omg was crap could hardly walk my legs are sore and aching

Woke today still aching has got me down a bit

Ano it’s cos I doubled distances walked Thursday but omg
