In Reality ..... Do I want to use a toilet with a couple of male yobs hanging around........ NO

Given all the pissing and shitting fetishists that make enquiries on here i'm sad to say it'd be a bit difficult to feel 'sexually' safe.......

Unisex facilities are quite common.

Think of trains, planes, buses etc.

A cafe with a single loo.

Males and females already using the same facility.

I guess the question relates to large-use facilities, like a shopping centre or a club and whether, or why, there is a need to segregate the sexes.

A friend of mine worked in a Wetherspoons for a while and she told me that a lot of the time the women's toilets were in a far worse state than the gents when she had to clean them! I heard tales of shit actually smeared on the walls and used tampons/towels left on the floor rather than in the bin provided!

I naively used to think that women’s public loos would all be clean and sparkly and that the ladies would all be incredibly hygienic and fragrant. Not the case, so I’m told!

Many are just as disgusting and piss ridden as the gents! It was a shocker when I was told that, what I don’t get is you wouldn’t do that at home so why the hell would you do it in a public facility!?! Dirty barstewards!!!

A lot of offices in London have unsigned toilets. It’s basically a corridor with fully partitioned toilet cubicles.

The cubicles also have their own sinks and hand dryers in them.

Most offices in London seem to be going that way now.

As for the smell wise in toilets in general. It’s because they are either filthy or they need better extract system or more fresh air.

I test ventilation air flows and you’ll be surprised how many building owners don’t care that their toilet ventilation doesn’t work properly.

well I've been in some ladies toilets in some of the Newcastle clubs and boy they are the pits. Toilets blocked and overflowing due to tampons being chucked down them . blood and pee on the floor. .never critisise just the gents because its really all down to the people who use and abuse them isnt it .

Costa only have one toilet generally for men ladies and disabled access. Apart from there usually being a queue because they need more, it works well enough.

I used to work security at a club many moons ago and the ladies toilets were rank. Generally urine everywhere and there would always be one passed out, knickers round her ankles siting arse deep in toilet roll and piss. Very classy!!

Also, I once lived in a place where toilet/bathroom accommodation was shared. The shower cubicles were great. There was a lot of dropped soap! Put fit, healthy 20 somethings in the same accommodation and see what happens....
