Would you block someone who uses the forums? 2

People made some very good points.. one of which was ‘ blocking somebody from forums because they didn’t like someone’s opinion is a very coward act’

You cant have someone blocked from the forums just for their opinion, plus with all the debating and crying people do on here we'd all end up getting blocked

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. We may disagree and agree, but we all have an opinion. Why get offended because someone disagrees with you? I might not like what you say, but I'm still gonna perv on you.

There are thousands of people on here, block away! Most of my blocks are because of negative statuses, people who come across as nasty on the forums, and harassers. Why let them affect your enjoyment of the site xx it's the same in life, if someone chatted to you at the bar and you didn't like them, you'd walk away! You wouldn't choose to keep them in your awareness x

Blocking someone from the forums for an opinion is pretty pointless as you still see them.

I tend to use blocking for people who crawl into our inbox and grate on my nerves or as a filter for locals that do not float my boat.

Blocking someone in the forums is equivalent to picking your ball up and running home because you are losing.

Unless their opinions are abhorrent but those people don’t tend to stay around long.

I must say I’ve never blocked anyone from the forums although I know of a number who have blocked me because they obviously didn’t agree with something I said or ate and all the block does is stop me viewing their profile nothing else. Maybe some think if they block someone that they will also block them form conversing in the forum. Nope it doesn’t If you want to block me your right ahead I’m not a profile troller and if it gets to that point I really can’t be arsed playing silly games
