there's many a great story in these bodies, regardless of shape or size, what we see on the outside is mearly the dust jacket. More often than not, you need to peek inside to see the interesting bits.

Dad bods, Mum bods, we've all got imperfections. In my humble opinion its less what the bod looks like and more what the owner allows you to do with it.

This is going to be a divisive one for some I reckon, not least because it's always going to be underpinned by the unfair expectations put on women's physical appearance in comparison to the somewhat disjointed perception of the male physique.

And I know it's not everyone who thinks that way, but society does allow the stereotype to persist. It hasn't always been that way, but right now it's without doubt the unfair yardstick many use. So whatever size and shape, it'll be sexy to someone and should be appreciated. As it goes, the mum bod especially speaks of a healthy and productive body. And if that isn't attractive in it's own right, we're all screwed!

Hmmm … that always depends on the individual bod, but what I would say is that the effects of carrying, birthing and possibly feeding children upon a woman's body are pretty much unavoidable and down to luck no matter how much the manufacturers of anti stretchmark cream would try to convince us otherwise! The women whose bodies show they've had children should wear those signs as badges of honour IMO.

On the other hand, and yeah I know I'm being pedantic here, the physical attributes usually assigned to 'dad bods' such as a bit of flab have nothing to do with them fathering kids!

I do think it’s something that takes time to come to terms with in yourself.

It’s the softness that is a woman’s body and I’ve come to appreciate that in my own body and not strive for something hard and angular and so defined anymore. It’s always the thing I love in other women’s bodies too. I find it’s much more womanly and appealing to me, way more sexy.

Up on them there hills

"I have a mum’s body, never heard any complaints.

L xxx

But Do you have a complaint procedure in place?

Why create something that’s not need?

To find out if you receive complaints

Thought I said I haven’t received any.

Where is that thread about men not reading things when you want it.

Of course you haven’t received any because there is no way people can make their complaints! Duh

Oh opening thier mouth is such a foreign concept for some men, now I understand.

Btw, is your mirror called Duh?

Great conversation "

Do you think so?

Hasn’t done anything thing for me personally, well I suppose it’s made me confirm one thing.

"So we’ve had the Dad bod posts. What about the Mum bod? I guess it’s the same sort of thing no? But is it as attractive as a dadbod? "

I can find any woman sexy, any body shape, as long as she has a nice face and fun personality..

To me, mum bod would be a woman who has had a kid or more, but still puts the effort in to take care of her body and health.

It creates the image of a woman who has wide hips, and a full figure. But lets be honest, lifestyle choices and genetics, and the personal situations of the individual mean that the image is not prescriptive.

"After 4 kids its safe to say I have a mum bod going on.

I have stretch marks, my boobs have seen better days as has my tummy, its took a while to accept the changes having children has made, but I'm at home in my skin and comfortable with how I look.

You have any amazing mom bod (mrs)"

Thank you, as do you

My Dad bod means the six pack has more or less diminished. No time for the sit ups these days!

I love Mum bods as much as non mum bods. Different shapes and sizes are all good to explore.

Variety is the spice of life!

Mum to 3 handsome young men and i have a "mum bod" that am proud of every little stretch mark reminds me i carried 3 little humans around for 9mths and they make me laugh and smile everyday, there is too much body shaming in this world today we are who we are if it doesn't attract one person it will another, my gran told me every teapot has a lid you just need to find your lid,so to all the mums be proud wear your scars and marks with pride

Imo a woman's body is like artwork, each unique in it's own way and should be respected as such
