Life Of Pi... very visual and pretty but all that happens is a young man getting lost at sea with a tiger.

onced watched a movie about a tyre which comes to life with the ability to make people explode. By far and away the most pointless and weird movie I have ever watched and about an hour and a half of my life I will never get back. It was called rubber and please never watch it

Dazed and confused, nothing happens other than some teenagers finish school in the late 70's, then get d*unk at a party and wake up on the school sports field the next morning, yet it's still a great film.

"Buried. The ultimate in nothing happening."

That movie is a masterpiece.

The guy managed to stick me on my seat, I went from being anxiois to being sad to being happy and had my head turned over with the end twist... Watching a guy in a coffin for one hour and a half !

It is my 2nd favourite film and Ryan Reynolds is outstanding in his role.

My favourite film, Before Sunrise.

Young American guy sees young French girl on a train. They make eyes at each other and jump out at Vienna. They walk around, they talk, fall for each other.

But what about the super double extended, definitely not a con directors cut where they found the extra 3 seconds that made it all make sense (disclaimer-the 3 seconds was mentioning the cleaning guys name on the credits.

Good films where nothing happens... there's one called something like "the wall" and it's basically this soldier in Afghanistan or somewhere pinned behind a small wall with an enemy sniper trying to kill him for the whole film.

I haven't seen "Lebanon" yet but it supposedly takes place entirely in a tank.

There's a sci-fi film called "the circle" where everyone wakes up standing in a circle and must elect someone to die in the circle every few minutes.

I haven't seen satantango yet but it's a 7 hour long film about a farmer and his donkey. I'd imagine not many car chases or explosions in that one either

The Deer Hunter, supposedly one of the best Vietnam war films. There's a stupidly long and boring wedding scene, about 20 minutes actually in the Vietnam war playing Russian roulette with the Vietcong, then a further long boring bit before Christopher Walken shoots himself.

Lost in Translation is one of my favourite films - I can watch it over and over and love it every time.

Garden State, The Station Agent and The Straight Story spring to mind. But perhaps the absolute best has to be Clerks.

3 Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri. I likened to to mskingca film of Chapter 10 in a 25 Chsotef book. The deed was done before and the last scene is them driving off to sort it out

Brilliant film though, 2 hours flew by.
