on every other body type thread we are told that skinny women can be curvy just as much as fat ones so that could be confusing if you are looking fat curvy girls

I can't stand the term BBW really (although yes I use the tag on my pics but only because there isn't a "fat" category) and lots of the really slim women on here call themselves curvy and I know that I am not

Being my preferred type too, some women don't like the term, but it's a real minefield of terms as some hate the term bbw. Curvy is too loose as a description as curves don't exclusively relate to plus size women.

Using the term “fat” can be offensive depending on how it’s used. It’s in my username as I’m describing myself and it’s what I am. If someone is slagging me off and calling me a “fat p***k” or “fat c**t” (as happens almost daily at work by lovely members of the public) then it’s not on, but used in an affectionate way or amongst friends or as part of friendly banter it’s fine. Hard to describe what I mean here but I think you all get the gist

Exceptionally tall people can be offended by it, my mate being one of them so I agree. However, referring to the weather up there etc is mocking and that’s slightly different I think.

I don’t see a need to comment on body shape and size. Never have and never will.

The thing with fat is.. you have fat, it is part of you but you are not purely ‘fat’. I would always take it as an offensive term in any context.

Don't get me wrong, I am quite happy with my size/appearance but as a few have pointed out, my pics make me look slimmer than I am, especially after gaining a bit of weight lately, plus I would rather people found me better than expected than turn up n not like what they see

I understand your opinion. But although I don't claim to be curvy myself ( I do have curves but bigger ones lol) I'm unsure but each to their own. Every size can have curves at the end of day it's more the shape of the body that determines that not the "fat"

I don’t think it’s particularly hidden that a lot of men seem to find larger women attractive. You always see a lot of larger ladies with “fit” men (meaning the traditional ideology of slim and healthy) but rarely do see the slimmer women with fat men.

Personally I tend to gravitate towards the larger end of it. As pretty as lot of “skinny” girls can be, I don’t particularly like seeing visible bones, like ribs, and like plenty of wobbly bits and curves

I think everyone will have a different idea but to me, size 10 and under is skinny, sizes 12-16 are perfect, 18-20 are chubby and after that is fat or large or whatever term people want to use. Of course this can vary as some people carry weight better than others

Depends on height too. I’m a 16 but 5ft 9 so wouldn’t consider myself fat. Curvy yes but not fat. Whereas someone at 4ft 11 probably would be classed as fat/chubby at a 16. Being sexy isn’t in someone’s size in my opinion
