Anyone hate rain?

In a bit of a rant this morning.

Don't you just hate the rain when you're planning on going somewhere outdoors?

Went to the car boot sale today that comes to middlebrook every Sunday and on the past two weekends including today, it has been raining which completely spoils a day of bargain hunting.

Why I hate rainy weather is that when it comes to doing something outdoors like going to a car boot sale, have a picnic or go to a theme park, you can't do anything as it's chucking it down and everything is soaked.

Anyone else had plans of going somewhere outdoors that had been spoiled by the rainy weather?

Are we back to moaning about the rain now?

Either it’s too hot or it’s raining or it’s not raining enough...

I can’t even remember where my coat is, just enjoy the variety

I don't mind the weather when it comes to going somewhere indoors like bowling, the cinema or the club but if it is anything outdoors while it's raining, I just don't bother.

Not being rude op but if you live in Britain and let the rain stop you doing things you're going to be pretty disappointed in life.

Invest in the correct clothing and there are very few things you can't do.

Picnic.. Invest in a pop up gazebo

Beach.. Less people so more space for you

BBQ..pop up gazebo

Walk in the country..wellys

If you live in my part of the world, you either get used to it and evolve webbed feet and gills, or move! Although I am getting a little tired of the farmers who all complained wanting rain a couple of weeks ago, who are now grumbling about when it's going to stop! I understand why, but they don't need to tell me every time they speak.

Somewhere In The Ether…

Random Rain Fact Relating To Ludwig Van Beethoven: It is well documented how the great composer loved to walk in the rain as he claimed it to often inspire his musical genius.

......I myself got soaking wet outside earlier and still can’t even play a bloody Xylophone though so I guess it must have been special, divine rain or something that the great man experienced

I’m not usually bothered about the rain, I walk everywhere, you just have to be prepared, get a good waterproof and off you go!

However, I’d really rather it wasn’t raining today as I’m off to Reading Festival for the first time!
