As a strong gay character I think would be fine but would probably kill the franchise with the mainstream audience, especually in the US. I think a Bond film with a camp portrayal would be awful based on just about every other camp character the film industry has come up with. | |||

Yes,I meant James Bond being james Bond only directing his promiscuity towards men. Would he use and discard them in the same way? Would he be their rescuer? Would he be top or bottom? the fight scene in (I think) From Russia With Love would be interesting,there already was a certain frisson and chemistry between Robert Shaw and Sean Connery. Neither was at all camp,though. | |||
