I’m currently having a drink in the (terribly posh) hotel beach bar in Marmaris! It’s great - other than that I’m currently ‘billy’ as both my teenagers have found friends to hang round with!

Have come to the conclusion that no other single parents ever go on holiday - because in six years of being single I’ve only ever seen families at the hotels the kids and I have been to!

Very occasionally I get to swap more than half a dozen words with a waiter or waitress!

Holidays are one of the very few times I’m not fond of being single! It ranks up there with Christmas and new year!

Gorgeous country though - and the scenery is amazing!
