Being Sexy minded is far more attractive and longer lasting than a typically good looking person

No idea.

Seen 'we're good looking' on profiles. Hang On, I'll be the judge of that, thanks.

I’ll never know!!

But I’d imagine a bit of both! Good and bad.

But good looking people tend to ‘get away’ with things or are treated differently (usually preferably) to the rest of us so, on balance, I believe it’s more of a blessing!

I wouldn't know. I know that I am "not what we are looking for" according to all but one couple. And not for any single ladies hahaha

Agreed. But let’s assume we’re talking percentages here. Many more people are going to think someone like Megan Fox is more attractive than Ms average down the road.

Brad Pitt or me? I’m quite sure I know my place in that attractiveness match up!

To one person you're the best looking in the world, to others there's no attraction at all.

Good looking women certainly get to take full advantage of it if they so desire! Very few of them have "ugly/average" partners, men will hold doors open for them, buy them drinks, shortlist them for job interviews and generally end up wrapped around their little finger. They can even make an extremely lucrative career purely out of being good looking.

Of course being good looking does have disadvantages, mainly unwanted attention from men they aren't interested in...

I hate assumptions I’m forever getting messages on a certain dating site saying things along the line of “oh your stunning why are you on here” you should easy be able to get a man blah blah blah! Yeah thanks for that really does a lot for my confidence, because I’m ok looking people automatically assume that finding a partner should be easy peasy.

My rant over

Burden. People think you’re vapid and self centred or a total narcissist. Most are but not all. It’s a curse as you don’t get to meet genuine, just all round decent people.

I think it is a privilege, good lucks as long as they are attached to a nice personality are a treat.

I'm sure the good looking people are enjoying themselves.

Perception however of what good looking actually is can usually differ from one person to the next... apart from if you look like Scarlett johanson then everyone else wants a piece of you ha ha

I don’t consider myself to be ‘good looking’ maybe average at best but I have been made to feel hot by someone who appreciates me. Knowing that you have that effect on someone fills you with confidence.

I happily voice my opinion that I consider someone to be beautiful when I genuinely believe it. However, although that does go some way to making one feel better, their own perception is that they are embarrassed by aspects of their body and do not consider themselves attractive.

My point is beauty is a combination of all things. Looks, personality, humour and confidence. And is generally in the eye of the beholder.

We should make the effort. Even the smallest comments to people we know to tell them when we think it and feel it. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

Peace.

As someone who was morbidly obese and "unattractive" to loosing weight and becoming "attractive" i can say in my experience the biggest shock was having to deal with bad people.

When i was big it was only the nice people who had time for me, so i suddenly had to deal with people i never had before and was too trusting as i had never come across the users and abusers before really.. does that make sense?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

But people who do find you good looking and you don’t feel the same seem to automatically categorise you as stuck up your own arse or think you’re better than everyone else. I’ve never understood this.

I have a face like Martin Clunes chewing a wasp. But hey, I’ve a certain charm.

Though simply put I don’t conform to what society says should be “good looking”, I do ok for myself.

It’s all in the eyes of the beholder.

Blessing, despite what some might complain about. You'd certainly feel alot harder done to if you had a face like a welders bench!

Fact is the beautiful people get an easier ride on the whole in life because people are well, only human.
