There and to the left a bit

Shawshank is definitely one of the best films ever - never tire of watching it, in fact must do so again soon.

Other films for me that fall into the "never tire of watching" category include:

The Green Mile

Gladiator

The Italian Job

The Great Escape

Goodfellas

Papillon (great call earlier poster )

Silence Of The Lambs

But if I had to pick just one - Shawshank would be my desert island DVD

I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone.
