I've always thought they have peaks and troughs - times where there's lots going on and others where finding interesting threads is hard to do.

Guess it's the school holidays still so a lot of people are quieter and that leads to a trough period

I think forums in general are quieter tbh. People tend to prefer the new style formats like twitter etc. Although I think fab is a little different since it's not really an open forum

I think they vary. Some threads can get very repetitive, like the same thread several times a day, but then I never come up with anything exciting new, so maybe I should keep my trap shut too
