Celebrations, Quality Streets or Roses?

Jump to newest

If I have to choose, I would go for Celebrations, as I can eat all of them except the Bounty ones.

For Quality Streets, I would have the chocolate covered fudge fingers and the toffee coins.

Not keen on Roses.

What would you prefer?

Dark and white chocolate for me, however, I normally prefer savoury snacks to chocolatey/sweet ones.

Do they do mini Toblerones in dark chocolate? If yes, then I need to seek them out!

always have preferred roses, but they are not as good as they used to be. was disappointed last year. Blinking hazlenut whirls used to be chunky and yummy but since they started the moulded stuff they are really tame.

"Lindt please"

Now we're talking.

Ever tried ones called Les Pyrénéens? They're the sexiest chocolate on the planet. Absolutely fabulous things... they actually taste cold. And they're silky smooth to eat.

British chocolates shouldn't be allowed to be called chocolate really.

Will give Celebrations a miss as they have cooking chocolate that sticks to the roof of your mouth! (Galaxy!) Yuk!

Quality Street we usually have, but more for nostalgia. It was a real treat to have a box at home during Christmas when we were young and very poor. Always hated taking em back after the holidays when the hire period was up! But we found out they were the chalk dummies that were used in displays..

May go for Roses, at least has a decent chocolate in it!

But as some others have said, Lindt and the like are a pretty fine bet. May use my very cheap channel crossing to get some real Belgium chocolate!
