Hidden profiles

Hi guys why is it that some profiles are hidden they have a pic u like then u go into there profile and there hidden ??

Could be just that they're only interested in chatting with people that they already know or on the forum, and/or want a break from meeting. Wouldn't think anything of it mate

I'm not looking to meet anyone new just now. I like the forums and I chat frequently to one man who has become a pen-pal..

Because they can, for whatever reason they may choose?

The forums are free for all, don't post if one does not want certain type of comments back, good or bad, IMHO!

I've been hiding mine now and again whilst my back is poorly... but then I always think I might be missing out on someone great! lol! so it never stays hidden for too long

Even, the second profile for a couple(but it's a female one) so they can both chat in chat at the same time form two different computers.
