When I was meeting I never met more than once. They scratched an itch but weren’t particularly fulfilling in an ongoing way. Initial buzz soon wore off.

Probably contributed to making it easier to stop meeting all together.

Deep meaningless sex might scratch an itch at the time, but it doesn't leave me satisfied.

Meeting someone, chatting a while first, establishing a friendship, then being able to build on that, if there's a mental connection I find the physical interaction is so much better.
