What song do you’d wish you’d written?

Not, for financial gain, but from an artistic point of view. Think Mine would be ‘Waterloo Sunset’ by The Kinks, it’s just a beautiful song, that seems to hit the spot.

I've written one great song so far. A lot of finishing touches to be done but all in good time. It's a guitary type song with no vocals yet. It has a Tarantino-esque vibe.

I wish I'd written 5,6,7,8 by Steps.

Leonard Cohen - Hallelujah

Radiohead - No Surprises

Randy Crawford - Everything Must Change

David Bowie - Wild is the Wind

Tony Bennett & Bill Evans - You Must Believe In Spring

Chopin - Nocturnes

So many deep profound beautiful pieces of music out there. I hope I can contribute something myself one day

Imagine, or Norwegian Wood,

Many of Bowies songs China girl or Man who sold the world if I have to get narrow.

Several Who songs, Behind Blue Eyes plus loads of others.

Hell there are thousands of great songs spanning the last 50 years, and many much older.

But for the dosh and repeat plays any Christmas song from the 70's or 80's seems we didn't have them before or since.
