In all honesty if you meet someone off here for a social and they are clear that it’s just a social, would you believe them or would you be assuming they were just saying that and be hoping/ expecting to get invited back?

For me, a social is a chance to see someone face to face to see if you want to take it further.

That can be the same day, or it can be on a second meet.

I love socials, never used to do them and had some absolute psychos that looked nothing like their pictures, stunk of BO or couldn’t even kiss turn up at my house, so now it’s a social every time, builds up the tension, you can do a kiss test, and decide if you want to see them again (or occasionally drag them home)

And contrary to belief (to some guys), it’s not a date!

I always insist on a social first. There have been times there's been a very clear chemistry and the opportunity to take it further there and then. But the intention on my side is always to give both parties the chance to reflect and decide not to take it anywhere in a no pressure way.

It’s interesting to see people’s opinions on socials.

I love a good social. And think it’s a great opportunity to just meet someone new and chat or meet with a view to seeing if there is chemistry for further play meets.

Of course OP. By the time I get to meet anyone on here anyway we’ve built a rapport so we’re clear exactly what the agenda is.

I’ve met on a purely social basis, a social that could lead to more (either that night or another time) if we click, and straight to a play meet in my time on here. All agreed and clear up front, no ambiguity. Never had a problem with any misunderstandings as far as I’m aware!

In my time on fab I’ve only ever had one social that could have been more than that.

To me a social is how I find out if I want to take things further, get to know them and if things go well, to then build the tension and anticipation for the next meet.

Sometimes though socials are just that and they can be wonderful in their own right. One of my favourite ever meets was a social.

A social is just that for me. A chance to meet in a social situation to see if there's a sexual connection there. I've had some cracking social meets and find it adds to the anticipation of a sexier type of meet afterwards! Dee
