glad when it went because i was fed up of the 'can you just move this for me ?' phone calls !

Lol, thats one reason i miss it! I moved a 3 seater sofa in it once it was great, perfect for campin trips too

I used to drool over my Uncle's X19!!

for some reason I thought it was the coolest sexiest car ever built - better than any ferarri, lambo or porsche - ok I was 8 years old, but then again, ferarris etc are made to appeal to the 8 year old boy in us - so fiat must have done something right.

I saw one in a garage very recently - fully restored and absolutely mint - I'll confess it still looked pretty tasty to me.

I had a red 1969 Fiat Viganale Samantha many years ago. LMA 93G was it's reg

It was based on Fiat 124 (or 126, I'm not sure) running gear but it was styled from a Ferrari Dino and had it I recall a 1.8 twin overhead cam engine, and boy could it go .....

Cracking car, but totally rotton bodywork and piss poor electrics - the horn would start to sound at random intervals and the electric windows would stick, open or closed there was no predicting how it would happen and sometimes the popup headlamps wouldn't pop up so the headlamps would shine up to the sky instead of in front of you. It was also a good idea to drive in wellingtons if you went out in the rain because the footwells did get quite waterlogged at times

It was one of 25 ever imported into the UK, so I was told. Cost me 500 quid, just a shame it was falling apart. Really needed some serious restoration done to it

My zuzuki x90 the kids hated it because they said it was ugly it only had 2 seats so we couldnt all go out together. It was a little t top the boot was nearly the same size as the rest of it. I used to run it on fumes and could pose with the roof bits off in the summer lol but i loved it!

Used to w*rk for a Fiat agents when the X19s were sold. My memory if of having to order decal sets for around every second one that went through the dealership because the decals had to be destroyed when they came back for resprays to correct paint faults under warranty. Never drove one but I`m told they handled like a go-kart!

Had a original mini 1000, used to drive around with 5 litres of oil opinion the boot cus it burtpnt it so fast! Lol

Loved that car, went everywhere in it! Particularly love the fact that I could just fit my surf board in it when I was out and about after a day at the beach!

Such fun times, sun, sea, sand and ........ Well not so much cus I wasn't a swinger then! Lol x

Wish I had my old Austin A40 as a little weekend car, last car I owned (sold in 1994) where I understand everything about how it worked.

Parts were still available in the 1990's as so many engine bits were common to other 1100 Austin models.

I'd tried to get pregnant for ages and had accepted it wouldn't happen

Bought a brand new mini - british racing green, convertible, every possible 'extra'

It wasn't the most expensive car I'd ever owned but I loved her and people stopped me in car parks to look at her (before the new minis became very popular)

Was pregnant within 3 months

Sadly the only way to put the baby in the car seat was to take the roof down and put it up so eventually one of them had to go!!!

God I miss that baby !!!

Only joking. The car went and the baby remains an utter joy !!!!
