I used to work for a body repair shop so have had the privilege , of driving some pretty shit awful cars.

The 2CV very hateful, you feel you'll topple over every time you go round a corner and a converted golf ball retriever for a gear stick, but the worse ever has got to be a Mahindra Jeep you need to be Mike Tyson to steer it and armoured glove to change gear, I drove one for 40 miles and got a huge blister in the palm of my hand.

Suzuki 410 jeep in Ibiza, twice we nearly turned it over....the thing seemed to rise up onto two wheels even at low speed at sharp bends.

always loved this car, until i drove one, totaly awefull, i had forgoten that its an old car and old cars are as a rule pretty shocking, no brakes, no handling, no comfort.

Turn left at the Singing Ringing Tree

Ford Ka. Was a courtesy car whilst mine was in the garage. Tin can on wheels - and I'm sure a tin can would have been more comfortable and less noisy.

I musn't forget the Fiat Panda we had on hire in St Lucia....the gearbox was totally shot, and often slipped out of gear....not really that advisable up in the hills when you can't get it into gear....are rolling backwards toward a massive drop off the hill....and the handbrake fails!

I would have wet my knickers....but I don't wear them!!

The worst car I ever drove was our Audi A4... it was lovely really but we had an Audi A4 convertable courtesy car while it was serviced and I really really didn't want to give it back!

Prob worst for actual driving was a Citroen 2CV. It had suspension like chewing gum and the gears where all over the place! Nasty car to drive! Not even made fun with the roof open!

Yes very poor, two strokes don't work in cars, great on bikes.

Think Saab put that engine in the early 96 and decided against it and put a better engine in the Ford V4 now that was a really crap engine!

Drove a Wartburg found it was ok really fast from the lights etc

+1 to that the 106 and citroen saxo's are hard to drive in trainers, but woring in a garage we had to wear steel toe capped boots... my worst must have been a mk1 106.

Norfolk

I had always aspired to driving a Merc, got a brand new E class and thought I had made it at last, within 100 miles it was back in the garage and spent more time there than with me at the wheel, couldn't wait to get rid.
