Braquo is one of my favourite shows of all time. If you've not heard of it, it's a French crime show, it can be a tough watch at times but my god its good.

The Bridge was the bee's knees.

For anyone looking to get into foreign language dramas I'd recommend the one that first got me hooked, and that's the first series of The Killing.

BBC4 has some fantastic foreign shows - especially on Saturday nights at 9pm. Some of the best television I've seen has been on BBC4.

I really enjoyed Kabul Kitchen, a French comedy set in Afghanistan, improbable I know, but it was v entertaining. It’s on Walter Presents. It’s about an ex Journo who tries to run a restaurant in Kabul and encounters lots of obstacles and characters along the way.

Funny how US shows aren't considered foreign TV.

Just an observation.

Probably because we have so many of them.

Somewhere In The Ether…

The Legend Of Tim Tyler. Does anyone remember this children’s TV show which was, as I recall, a German/Spanish co production?
