We are very late on the scene with all things Gin

We are struggling to find things we like to mix it with , tried Indian tonic water and it yuk !!! Really did not like it

We just seem to sticking with lemonade at the moment which is nice but would like to try something else

So what's everyone's favourite?

Rhubarb and ginger gin with a tonic is like pop. Sloe gin and lemonade with a big chunk of orange is totes delish. There’s a new Sevilla orange tanqueray that’s nice also but if I want a straight up classic g and t I’ll go for tanqueray 10, can’t beat it.

Try the Fevertree flavoured tonics, I usd to hate gin until I discovered these! The Mediterranean and Elderflower ones are my favs use with lots of ice and chunks of lime or grapefruit

Gin doesn't have a particularly strong taste, so you can mix it with just about anything.

Juice is obviously the easiest replacement (or addition) for lemonade. But if you want something a bit fancier, grab some mint leaves, some lime juice, some lemonade and make a fresh crispy gin mojito.

Not far away

I've been experimenting a lot lately (with Gin too)

It's a very versatile drink.

As others have said, the flavoured Tonics are nice but don't be afraid to have a rummage in your cupboards and see what takes your fancy.

For example, last week I added a dash of Strawberry flavoured Crusha and a few strawberries to a plain Gin and Tonic.

The next one, I added apple, honey and cinnamon.

Both were very nice.

All sorts of fruit can help to transform a Gin.

Kiwi is good too, even cucumber and mint. Just have fun trying things

Equal measures of gin, campari, tonic and slice of orange and lots of ice.

Better to use fully leaded tonic as the slimline is horrid.

Rose lemonade is nice if you prefer a sweeter mixer, like others have said the Fevertree tonics have some great flavours without the quinine tang. Elderflower is nice and sweet , Mediterranean is a bit more neutral so if you have a flavoured gin it doesn't interfere too much with the flavour x

I didn't like tonic water at first but really liked a nice pink grapefruit lemonade. Now very happily take a nice Fevertree tonic and a slice of lime, cucumber or grapefruit.

To be honest I think pure gin is awful and can only believe all the various flavours are just there to mask the taste.
