"Ultravox Without Midge Ure Quite enjoy the John Foxx Ultravox as well " Oh yes. Systems Of Romance" paved the way for many great things. It's a shame John and Robin left after touring the album. But stompers like "Young Savage" and "Rockwrok" are fantastic.

"For me - Placebo Underrated? Yep never got the massive success they should have had. " I agree. They might have monopolised their genre, but chart wise and accolades I don’t think they did get the success they should have. (I’m not saying they were the best ever). Also muse, much better than other bands that are more of a house hold name.

"Reverend and The Makers possibly, although did have some success" I’d never heard of them until I saw them live a couple of years ago. Agreed that they should have done better. I’ll nominate my favourite late 80s survivors World Party. Catchy tunes with a social conscience, plus a sort of feud with Robbie Williams. What’s not to like?

"There's a lot of local bands out there that deserve more recognition than they get " This we go watch small bands all the time, some of them are absolutely awesome and it doesn’t cost a small fortune to get in, that’s if it’s not free entry! (Oooerr) Please check out vodun, king witch and monolith cult, all available in the usual internet locations!
