I’ve had 4 meets cancel on me in 2 weeks,getting very disappointed with this site and the male population lol.

Sorry to hear that, it’s not good and I can understand the frustration.

What due diligence do you do before a meeting though? Once is unfortunate, twice is unlucky .. but 3 or 4 sounds like possibly your quality control up front isn’t strong enough?

It may just be bad luck or it may be sheer rudeness. I am surprised that men don't turn up at a meet, it may be chiche and naive, but I'd expect that more from a woman.

Secondly, I wouldn’t get annoyed at the site, there are many that ruin it for the few.

It's not the male population. It's your choice of potential meets. 4 is a pattern. Perhaps a rethink of your approach and who you choose to interact with is needed, rather than blaming the men of fab. Good luck OP

to be fair not all of us men do that every meet i've had i've always turn up but some of the men on here are not like myself and I understand your picky it makes sense on here. I would definitely follow some on the advice about change tactics and 4 in 2 weeks definitely is showing a pattern starting to form so nip it in the bud.

Don't get discouraged, I'm still working on a first friend. The site is very down to earth, to me, and I am enjoying it. Like you said, you are not into the club thing, which would be a 'duck shoot' for you, so a bit of letdown is tolerable. I would imagine that a few people were shocked that you agreed to meet, as you are pretty stunning and they just chickened out. If you weren't so far away, I would have checked an interest, so that is a compliment.
