2018 hates me.

The latest in a long line of fuck ups? Came home from work to find my living room ceiling on the living room floor. The mess is astounding.

Decided to abscond to my parents for the evening/night til something can be done, and find that my dad has never removed adult content blocking on his Internet thank fuck for 4G!

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the roof! Nightmare, hope it gets sorted soon and the insurance company are reasonable!

In terms of t’internet, use a VPN on your phone or laptop (whatever you use) .. that’ll get past the adult locks!

At least you know the old man’s not whacking off to porn every night!!

Luckily it's rented, though that means I won't have much control over things I imagine. My landlord is pretty good about stuff though and usually lets me liaise directly with tradesmen types.

None of my 'contents' is damaged, just covered in horrible black plaster. And bits of coving.

My parents have a block on adult content too, I'm pretty sure they don't even know it's there so I don't fancy asking them about it! I just use a VPN the few times I have stayed there

Hope your house gets sorted, not something you expect to see when you go home but thankfully you weren't upstairs or downstairs underneath it when it happened!!

Was told by builder next door after he stripped the ceiling that the chimney is crumbling. My ceiling could cave in too.

What is VPN and how does it work??

I cant get fab when out and about, i can only get fab at home where there is wifi. Would this VPN help me with this.

No, you need to get your phone provider to unlock adult content on your phone.
