Love experimenting in the kitchen, I find it so relaxing! Today I roasted six garlic bulbs then mashed them up with lemon zest and juice, sea salt and chilli infused olive oil to make a spread come thickening agent for toast and spaghetti Bolognese etc

What do you do to relax?

When i have the time I do enjoy a bit of cooking or baking.

But I try and fill my time with active stuff a lot mostly. There can be moments of creativity with that too though.

I love to paint, draw, upcycle, write poetry and spoken word but my absolute joy is wood! Finding and beautifying a large piece of driftwood is one of the most satisfying and calming things to do!

I love the feel and look of driftwood once it's been made all pretty! Every one a unique piece

Did you peel the garlic before or after roasting?

I write, knit, see, make hair accessories, and practice lots of circus skills.

I just take off all the papery skin and the roast them whole as a bulb, find the last skin covering protects them from burning and they seem to roast and steam at the same time, they become really sticky and sweet.

Yes! I keep most of my pieces, they're so beautiful, I have to touch them, stroke them regularly lol I'm working on two pieces atm a pale soft wood with rust leaching through from the girders, which is stunning and a hard dark wood covered in barnacles!

Damn I love wood!

I’ve just created a colour coded scale for measuring creativity. That how creative I am.

Btw, I’m turquoise, if you were wondering.
