I see this a lot on fab some lady looking for a meet then disappears for a coupe of days and doesn't meet, is this a attention thing maybe to get messages but I find it very odd

Exactly this. I did this when I joined up and met someone who also wasn't verified. Loads of people sent me messages saying I was fake or an attention seeker. Several of them have crawled back looking to meet now that I am verified.

I’m guessing the OP says they put up a meet request for that day or the next day, then log off Fab and don’t log back in again for a couple of days until after the advertised meet. I’ve seen that happen a few times - so how are they going to know who’s replied to the meet request if they haven’t logged in?

There are indeed some serial offenders on that so I think you’re right, OP, I do think (for some!) it’s a cry for attention more than anything!

on fab you get to know lots about people and build up a good rapport and regular users know a lot about this site and we use it every day I'm not in here much but I use it every day like most

I made the mistake of putting up a meet on a previous profile. Never again!!!

Inundated with stupid messages, people I'd never meet and abusive messages. Was a total disaster.

Maybe that's what happened to her?

People meet on here all the time but don't publish or leave a veri or feel the need to update their status to tell the whole of Fab they've just had a meet or explain how they found their meet in the first place. They just have a meet and then go about their day and anyone looking at their profile will be none the wiser to any of it.

I don't think they need a note from their mum for either of those scenarios.

Many of my friends on here have my contact details. So if I were to put up a meet request ( I would never do that) they would probably contact me by whatsapp etc. Usually when I change my profile or update my status, I get a text message from one of them. I wouldn’t need to come onto here to see my messages if that was the case.

How do you actually know that a meet didn't take place??

It's possible that a friend off fab contacted them directly and arranged a meet and she just didn't come on to the site for a couple of days. Real life could've got in the way and she didn't get an opportunity to log on.

There could be numerous reasons why someone isn't on here for a few days and it doesn't mean they are attention seeking on leading anyone on.

I've had that after I've given them a first social veri as well. They think that will open up the whole site for them, it doesn't happen and they contact me again after a couple of months of trying to meet others because they can't get any meets. And no, I don't bother meeting them again.

She may have gotten the meet she wanted elsewhere, she may have exchanged numbers with someone and that’s why she didn’t log in and she probably did meet.

Either way it isn’t really your business and speculating isn’t going to do anything.

Luckily they only let about 4-5 in the one I went to. Just be prepared that you may or may not have the attention you so desire at a club also. "
I know and clubs can be clicky but I've spoke to a couple that go a lot and my friends go and I'm not going to clubs for just fun I like to meet new faces and meet lots more couples and hopefully find a swinging partner to go parties and clubs together so it's a good place to find what I want nice comment though much appreciated

Most people are interested in just a few of those interested in them. Once you don't hear from someone, move on - without wondering what they are doing, of they're not meeting etc. Focus on the next potential candidates

course I do _ady lick I only see ladie's and couples meets on mine I had filters on aswell so narrows search a bit so that all the ladie's looking for tall man I know I can't meet them nevermind

She may have forgotten she'd put up a meet request. Silly as it sounds.... but, you can put a thing in your calendar and the site will automatically put your request up once its that day. She could have done it ages ago and forgotten about it.

I see your point but the meet wasn't on in the morning, if the calendar was set it would have been but it was added later, i understand lots have reasons for fab and I don't mind each to there own, it's nice to see and get an opinion from people and what they think life is so short we have to live it and have lots of fun memories and friends along the way

no she didn't and I'm the same I don't ask to meet once I get to know someone then I decide and some of the time they are new and some get overwhelmed by fab but if they use the right filters it narrows search down

And you are from my home town I loved ramsgate and herbs bay and Cliftonville how is it these days moved away when I was 9
