Isn't it funny how one innocuous comment can hit you and knock you sideways.

Can feel myself spiralling into a funk right now questioning where I am in life.

(not on here, in real life just can't Facebook these feelings lol)

Of course it can, but accept you're human and will experience emotional roller coasters...trying to look too deeply into it isn't always the answer?

Never let someone else’s comment affect your emotion. Don’t let other individuals have that much influence on how you would feel.

I appreciate that what people say do hurt sometimes but it’s what you do with that comment that determines how you feel. If you let it fester and do nothing about it, it’s going to bug you. But, if you actually decide to do do something after hearing a particular comment. Then, you’re back in control.

Ask yourself why it is their opinion matters? Ask yourself why it bothers you?

Yes sometimes words hurt, they can catch you at the daftest of moments. I just have little rants and get it out then stick it in the fuck it pile and move on x
