Walked the dog down the country lanes by us earlier and within 1 mile saw at least 10 McDonalds, 2 KFC and more worryingly 4 beer cans dumped in the hedgerows along the lanes.

Surely we can do something to stop the fast food litterers.

Anyone in for asking for a site where we can upload footage from our dashcams etc if we see someone dumping their rubbish and then they get an instant £500 fine or better still made to do a week in the area picking up everyone else's trash.

It might be worth getting involved with a parish council, I know ours is heavily community orientated.

Our local schools and in fairness McDonalds do a pick but cant believe how much there is in the past 6 weeks since I last took that route.

Its as if there was an organised dump your trash in Worcester party.

Will try the parish council as we know folk who are involved, fingers crossed.

Can’t stand litterers! Saw eight cigarette butts *under* the wall-mounted cigarette bin. Why would you not put them in the thing on the wall designed for them?!

Hey there was a McDonalds paper cup less that 2 metres from the bin, was it too hard for them to get their aim or something

I hate seeing beaches being left in a state after the day is finished. There are loads of bins nearby or better still take it away. It's not difficult, is it?

The worst is Anglers who leave discarded line, hooks and rotting bait by the waterway, being not only untidy but dangerous to wildlife too.

We were feeding bread to the fish in Cornwall last week and a poor Seagull flew in to grab some of the feast.

We noticed it had a fishing hook in its one leg and the line had bound its other leg to it.

Would have loved to have been able to catch it and cut it free but sadly it flew off

Ive just been to rutland water and had a good luck round. Not one piece of litter in sight. I have noticed they now have blue wheely bins next to the litter bins so hopefully its the fact there are plenty of room for rubbish. It got a big fron me
