The disappointment that often follows a wink

on the road to nowhere in particular

Now I know I like a nice wink and I’m willing to bet most men on here like a wink too. Obviously I can’t speak for the women but I’m sure that most don’t mind a wink either.

I will be honest here I don’t wink that often and it’s very rare that I have the pleasure of someone winking me.

Anyway before I start to digress too far, I noticed earlier that I had received not one but two winks. I was so excited that I couldn’t wait to get home and hurried as fast as I could.

I got home opened up fab and rushed to the who winked me page as fast as my delicate little fingers could go.

Two winks both at exactly the same time but from completely opposite ends of the country, almost as far away as one could be in either direction, that was bad enough but! Now I do appreciate a wink and I’m always flattered when I receive a wink from someone but not only were the winkers miles and miles away, they were both male. NOOOOOOO!!!

I was so deflated that I couldn’t offer a reciprocal wink with any heartfelt sincerity.

Now my question is, do you like to be winked? Do you have any thoughts on getting a wink from someone that is not what you are looking for.

Here’s hoping for many answers and winks for all

I used to look at winks and message the ones I liked but not so much these days. If I'm feeling lazy I might send someone a wink though

A wink is always a bit of an ego boost, the disappointment generally comes from a lack of response.

We like winks, especially from those who we're looking for too, although we still appeciate appreciation from others even if we don't reciprocate

I’ve messaged the odd winner, but it’s rarely come to much. It was as if they weren’t really very committed..

We bulk delete winks but it does say that in our profile so it shouldn't come as a surprise.

I always appreciate a wink or message but more often than not it reminds me of a Donna Summer song

Sadly, 99% of winks don't result in a meet. It is always nice to know that people like the look of you, along with photo fabs.

Winks from strangers don't mean as much as winks from firends. When you wake up feeling horny, then see your fab friend has winked you already. There's possibilities there.

Winks lead to absolutely nothing. A complete waste of time. IMHO.

I've come to the conclusion that winks are just a waste of time,I've winked at guys they have winked back then nothing else has happened so why bother?

I really don't see the point of them..

I tend to get them off men who are not what I'm looking for and oddly, today, I have had a couple off people where i am outside their age range

I wink my Fab friends. Others, no. I tend not to look at my winks other than to bulk delete them.

As per my post yesterday winks, are complete nonsense in my opinion, we dont pay any attention to them and we dont send any.

If someone catches our eye we will message.
