Yep... should of taken note years ago to keep in touch with someone. Now in the later years both are kicking ourselves that we didn't but now it's to late.

There and to the left a bit

There are plenty of things I wish I hadn't done but each of them taught me valuable lessons so not regrets as such but still wish I'd not done them because of the pain it caused not only myself but in some instances others too

Regrets are just moments we play over as what ifs. I have things i wish had been better, though mostly learnt to do better the next time round.

That said, living in Grantham Lincolnshire for a couple of years is something I'd change if I could.

A life lived without regret is a life not lived! Regret that my eldest daughter and I had a massive row 7 years ago and haven’t spoken to one another since and in that time she had emigrated to Canada. Think it’s highly unlikely I will ever hear from her or see her again

To regret is a misuse of hindsight when we should use it to learn and move on. Not always easy I admit ...

I try to live in the here and now and not the past, the past is just memories waiting to give you guilt trips through hindsight.

When I get hurt I do tend to hit out in anger ( verbally) it’s almost my protective shield.

In fact it does me more hard than good.

I wish sometimes I could just zip it.

Oh I feel your pain, please write to her and tell her of your regret. You clearly love her and I hope you will be able to re-establish your bond.

A hand written letter means so much to the recipients than emails and will show you do care about her. Good luck x

Hopefully for you it is not forever... perhaps put a request in the Canadian media for making contact... I friend done something similar only it was a different situation..

The right place

Is there a difference in the way you feel about things you haven’t done or didn’t do, to the regrets about the things you have done?

Loads.

One action is buying an air pistol, that was used on me when messing around ended up blinding me in one eye.

Giving up my cycling as it got boring, no idea where I would have ended up though.

Not getting into crossdressing at an earlier age, when I had the looks and figure to pull a good luck off.

You need to have the bad experiences to learn and adapt.

Do I have regrets yes have I learnt from my past mistakes...Yes.

The main thing I have learnt is never go against your gut instinct. It's there for a reason
