Question for you kinky guys and girls. I’ve always struggled with having a tum even when I was a size 10, and it’s something that I’m very embarrassed and insecure about. Which led me to thinking that when I look at other woman I always compare and put myself down.

Then I think I’ve a cracking pair of legs and tits and a not so bad face, yet I always think a man will overlook these features and just see me as fat, as I have a tum.

Do men look at woman with flat stomachs and think they are the god as such ? Or do you also look at the whole picture (so to say) and think but she’s got a beautiful face and or great legs boobs ? Or am I just overthinking things ?

I feel exactly the same, I have had 3 children so my stomach is never going to be flat again even as a size 8. I always thought I was alone in feeling like that.

Mine is my back (bad acne scars)

Lou’s is her mum tum

Do people judge you on these? Probably some do, but only the shallow ones that aren’t worth meeting anyways

I'm exactly the same as you, in my experience so far men see the positive bits and if they do notice then the certainly don't say anything or get turned off by it. I just think sod it and get it out anyway, I think confidence is sexier than a perfect body - not that I'd mind one of those .

The first thing I look at on a woman is the teeth no idea why then I look at the overall shape and hips I think it’s hard wired in our brains to do that I never look at some ones tum it’s not important and if any man turns you down for it they are just shallow and need to look in the mirror

You're over thinking things, unless you wanted to tell everyone you're a size 10

Women are meant to be curvy, including a bit of tummy. If it helps I was the same, but it turned out my tummy was bloat. I was eventually diagnosed with coeliac disease 20 years later

When I started meeting on here I was convinced guys were going to look at my thighs and laugh me out of the bedroom, and/ or be disgusted. I actually started wearing swing dresses to hide my thighs (which are one of my bigger features whatever size I am, have been since I was a little girl). I used to hide the flinch, cringe, or even tears of shame when someone touched them.

I've worked out that they're actually pretty normal and that people like them. With support and work on my self-confidence, I'm OK with them now, and enjoy having them touched. They're not my favourite feature, but I've found my fears were overblown. I bet you will too.

I think that most people have some form of a ‘tum’ from one reason or another, I mean I have a little bit of one even though I’m toned, athletic and training for a marathon!

It’s just how your body is and where you body puts its stuff.

I find it quite sad that so many beautiful women feel insecure about their bodies. I'm not sure how society can change to avoid these worries, the first step needs to come from the individual I guess. Learn to love yourself, not so much that you become self obsessed, just enough to be able to say " Hey, this is me, I'm ok".

We all have our hang ups about oir bodies, it's not just women, men have them too.

I have an awful mummy tummy and stretch marks. I don't take any photos of me full frontal for that reason. I worried when we first joined fabs that guys wouldn't want to meet me.... How wrong was I?? It does still bother me, if guys don't like it I wear lingerie that covers my stomach. My boobs more than make up for it and men seem to be so mesmerised by them they don't notice my tummy!

I'm nearly 50 and I work hard in the gym 4-5 times a week so I think I'm entitled to say 'fuck it! It ain't going to get any better than this'.

It make you feel like shit....I’m confident day to day but find myself looking at the pics of women who have verified a guy that wants to meet us, and if she’s slim and has a flat tummy I delete them as feel I can’t match up and why would they want to come near me/is when they’ve had someone so stunning!!

It’s not nice, but it’s nice to hear that others feel the same!!

We all have bits of our bodies we are insecure about but truthfully not many others take a blind bit of notice.

I understand completely how you feel as I’m the same, but every meet I’ve had no one has ever looked at my stomach and I’ve never had any negative comments about it. I think it’s just one of those things we see if ourselves that we don’t like but everyone else looks at us as a whole and not just our stomach x

It wobbles like a mad jelly when I’m on my back, it pools like a puddle of ooze when I’m on my side, it hangs like an old cat’s tummy when I’m on my knees and with me on top I literally have to put my brain somewhere else as I know it just looks gross.

I mainly try to distract with my boobs

You look beautiful, as a woman I look past certain parts and look at the whole picture and wobbly bits don’t bother me. I look at other woman and think even “OMG she’s got a bit of a tum BUT she’s taller and dresses more elegantly or she has bigger boobs to carry it off” if that makes sense

I mean i take people as i find them everyone has a flaw bit that flaw doesnt make the package

If im happy how i get allong with them and theres chemestry in how we interact and flirt the phisical features become secondary to me anyway but im not everyone

I am exactly the same! I wear a size six, but for the last year the dreaded middle aged spread has happened and a pot belly as appeared which I bloody hate!

No idea how to sort it, but I haven't been naked with someone else for about 18 months, mainly due to stress and other stuff, so no idea how I would feel if I do meet someone and want to have sex with them

You can, of course flatten your stomach as much as your genetics will let you with diet and excercise. It's just whether you want to or not. I personally don't mind the effort, but some will day you should accept yourself as you are etc.

I get that. My limbs are slim, but I have curvy hips, a butt, a tummy but my boobs are b cups and they're not gonna get bigger on their own. The first man who ever saw me naked told me that I looked really out of proportion, which did suck quite a bit!

But if I did have bigger boobs it would even my chubbiness out a bit so I know what you mean.

it's not just looks that makes a woman sexy.

that is just a part of it, there are lots of things that come into play, from the way they present themselves, personality traits, even down to the perfume they wear.

it's a whole package and only a shallow person would pick out a very minor flaw (and we all have them) and be put off by it.

It's not as hard as you'd think. I was 18 stone once - I think there's a big mental barrier because other people (including the fitness industry) want you to think it's hard.

I don't think anyones thinking you started it as a white knight thread lovely, think the stomach is a hated area for a lot of women. As a much bigger woman I know all about insecurities, they come at whatever size and shape you are, not many can say they don't have any.

From other threads and chats ive had with lovers and male friends men often don't see the bits we hate, they don't tend to care if you have a wobble or a wibble somewhere.

When ot comes to dating they are likely to be enamoured with yoir personality before getting naked and that will drive their attraction.

It's hard to tell someone not to feel insecure about a part of their body, if only it was that easy. We are all beautiful in our own ways xxxx

It's only natural really. Many more men want sex than women, so women pick and choose only the very best specimens to them whilst a lot of men will make compromises. Whereas many more women want a relationship than men so women are usually the ones to compromise a hell of a lot and settle for a relationship partner they wouldn't be attracted to in the slightest on here sexually? Whereas physically a lot of men will only settle for the creme de la creme physically when it comes to a long term relationship?

So I can understand some women having body hang ups if looking primarily for a relationship as not to have a body that is seen as highly desirable can be seen as a major hole in SOME women's chances of getting a relationship with those you truly desire, though it must also be said that it doesn't hinder a lot as mental connections can still be made and forged stronger than any lustful ones alone as an initial factor?

I have a mum tum and I’ve never been more self conscious of it until recently. I’m guilty of taking 50 pics to use just 1 and I avoid showing my stomach in them.

I did have a comment of ‘you’re bigger than I thought you looked in your pics’ maybe a flippant comment but it stayed with me.

I guess preference works both ways, there will be those that like the model look and those that prefer the everyday woman. I love looking at others ladies that are similar to me.

I could list 100s of reasons why I hate every part of my body. My stomach especially. I still find myself scared the minute anyone goes near it. Ultimately though I think the person we see in the mirror isn't the person others see.

OP. Firstly it’s unfounded - you look stunning. But we all have our little bits we don’t fully like. And It’s not just girls who feel like this. Us men do too. I have lots of hang ups about my body. Especially since being single and when you see some of the guys bodies on here. I see beauty in all shapes and sizes and it’s the whole package that makes someone sexy. Smiles, eyes and tummies just add to the beauty in my opinion.

you have to have a mixture of both, I once chatted to a woman for over a year kept trying to get a meet, saw face and body pics and we got on, finally got to meet her she had no teeth and what teeth were there were sharp and black bought her a coffee chatted for and bit and left on good terms

I’ve been worried for years that my ass was too big, stomach too prominent, boobs too small etc, but I think now I’ve just got to the point where I think if they like me they’ll like all of me and the ones that don’t aren’t worth worrying about. OP you look fabulous in your pics and really don’t have anything to worry about

This is actually a great point my friend! Only yesterday I blocked a lady I have been chatting very nicely with, getting on quite well in fact, feeling a connection etc. My public pics drew her attention initially, and after several messages she asked for a face pic. Her next message to me was ‘sorry, there’s no chemistry for me’. In summary then; my personality seemed great, my pics from floor to neck appeared acceptable, but then some two-dimension images of neck and above presumably stomach-churning?

Personally I think yes you are. Most blokes look at the whole picture and I reckon most don't give a stuff about curves, infact personally I prefer curves, so in my opinion you have nowt to worry about.
