"Few questions come to mind before answering. What is Romance? What is 'Romantic' love, is it any different to ordinary love? Is a heart always 'broken'? What of those who have been in love 70 yrs and more in love now... Did they experience a broken heart? A simple answer to your question imo is NO. Having a broken heart doesn't corrolate to romance or even enhance it."

I was more asking if people understand the depth of romantic love more ,if they have experienced heartbreak rather than those that found it and never lost it, if you see what I mean.

I think it's not a necessary part of people's ability to love but definitely makes you more appreciative of it if you are lucky enough or brave enough to risk it again. There are many forms of love and heart break and I believe people experience it at different levels and ways which doesn't reflect on their level of love

" I was more asking if people understand the depth of romantic love more ,if they have experienced heartbreak rather than those that found it and never lost it, if you see what I mean." Not the depth, but the value maybe. I let go someone who loved me deeply, and would have loved me still I have no doubt, and recently I have come to realise the value of his love.

"How can love fade out... If it does was you really in love on the first place ?" 100% yes. I was deeply in love with my husband when I married him but it faded and died ... Which is why we separated

"Yes I think it gives you deeper insight into it imo in what way" Love grows its roots deep inside you, weaving itself deep into your soul. Much of this goes on in some dark unknown recess somewhere inside. But when it's torn from you, every square inch of where it once entwined in your soul burns with a ghastly emptiness, like a dark wind blowing on raw exposed nerves deep within that you never knew were there. It makes you more acutely aware of its full extent deep into you... and how deep you yourself go too. A profound aching interior abyss. A dark glistening cavern filled with burnt diamonds that you never knew was there
